Supporting you to meet your statutory obligations for Work Experience
Our services are designed to ensure that schools organising and placing young people in work experience placements can be assured that they meet necessary health and safety standards, have appropriate insurance in place and that there is a risk assessment for the opportunity. This service will allow schools to meet their statutory obligations to ensure as far as is reasonably practicable the work experience placements they use are safe.
We also ensure there is a job profile so young people know what to actually expect from a placement and staff can match young people to appropriate placements.
This service is open to all schools with secondary aged pupils who undertake work experience either in year 10 or 11 and/or post 16.
We can also offer training to pupils going out on work experience to give them a nationally accredited level 1 health and safety qualification.
