The second practical session will be in the afternoon where you will be teaching small groups on the poolside. Please ensure that you have appropriate footwear and a whistle for this session. You will also need a pen and paper for the theory sessions. The ASA have produced a NCTP Guide, Fundamentals and Aquatic Skills in School Swimming which is attached to the course details. It is important that you try and read this Learner Guide prior to attending the course. It may be beneficial to you to print it and bring it with you. Some copies will be available to use on the day.
