A course for Headteachers and Governors in school who are preparing for inspection.
This course is designed for Senior Leaders who are seeking to improve the quality of leadership and management through more effective monitoring and evaluation. There will be a sharp focus on the school’s self-evaluation processes and outcomes, with links to the inspection framework, whole school priorities for improvement and action plans to address them.
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- be clear about the latest emphases in the Ofsted handbook and process
- be clear about the school improvement planning process and how it focuses on provision and outcomes for pupils
- be clear about the key elements of the school improvement plan and how they are linked to the school’s self-evaluation
- be clear about different ways of involving a range of stakeholders in the process.
