These are termly meetings that provide Subject Leaders with the opportunity to keep up to date with local and national information relevant to their subject areas.
Share good practice and discuss issues impacting on standards in their faculties/departments. Work collaboratively to develop teaching and learning resources, common internal assessment, schemes of work and cross moderate internal and external assessments.
By the end of the course, delegates will:
- have improved standards and outcomes in specific subject areas due to regular dissemination and implementation of proven good practice
- have improved reliability of assessment
- have enhanced opportunities for further school-to-school collaboration.
